My Election, My Fiji Civic Education Resource is a mandatory component of the Year 9 and Year 10 Social Science curriculum in all secondary schools. The resource includes a Student Workbook, Teacher Guide and supporting materials designed to equip young Fijians with the knowledge, values and skills to understand electoral processes and actively participate in democratic life.

The development of this curriculum was a collaborative effort of the Fijian Elections Office, Ministry of Education and the United Nations Development Programme under the VOTE Fiji project. Teachers and students played a central role in reviewing drafts, suggesting improvements, co-designing animated content and testing lessons in real classroom settings before implementation. The final resource reflects authentic Fijian experiences and is intended to foster greater democratic participation.
