The Institute of Democracy and Electoral Education (IDEE), is the civic education and training arm of the Fijian Elections Office (FEO), and is dedicated to strengthening Fiji by empowering communities through education, engagement, and collaboration. Our mission is to build an informed, active, and responsible citizenry by promoting electoral literacy, democratic values, and inclusive participation.
We work with individuals, schools, civil society and community leaders across towns, villages, and online platforms to ensure everyone understands their rights and responsibilities in a democracy. Through partnerships, outreach, and hands-on learning, IDEE fosters transparency, accountability and shared ownership of Fiji’s democratic journey.
