The Institute of Democracy and Electoral Education (IDEE) is guided by a number of policies and procedures that ensure our teaching, learning, and governance Systems are fair, transparent, and effective. These policies help students understand their rights and responsibilities, and they also provide staff with clear frameworks for delivering high-quality education and support.

IDEE Terms of Reference
Defines how a committee, board, or working group operates within the Institute of Democracy and Electoral Education (IDEE). It provides clarity and guidance so that members understand their role, responsibilities, and the limits of their authority.
Governance Committee Terms of Reference
Established to support the Council of the Institute of Democracy and Electoral Education (IDEE) by overseeing governance practices, ensuring accountability, and promoting transparency in all areas of the Institute’s work.
Student Grievance Procedure
The student grievance procedure sets out the formal process for resolving student grievances about matters or issues relating to their experience with IDEE.
Academic Integrity and Honesty Policy
The Policy outlines the IDEE expectation of academic integrity for every staff and student including the principles and framework for upholding the high standards required and for managing alleged academic misconduct.
